Pons Quintana was born in 1953 in Alaior, Menorca and began her adventure in the world of footwear, initially focusing on the manufacture of children's shoes.

Since 1956, the company has expanded its offering, introducing models for adults and becoming a point of reference in the women's footwear sector.

The famous " Babucha " by Pons Quintana revolutionized the concept of comfort and domestic elegance, introducing a new lifestyle through its footwear.

In 1968 Pons Quintana built its current factory, equipping it with modern machinery for assembly and production: this is a fundamental thing in the footwear sector!

From that moment there was the beginning of significant expansion, with the first commercial contacts in Europe starting in 1975.

The entry of a new generation into the company, led by Santiago Pons Quintana, led to the hiring of Italian and French designers, outlining a definitive and international product line.

Thanks to the incorporation of new technologies in 1990, the large Pons Quintana family grew even more, reaching over 100 active employees and consolidating the brand internationally.

Pons Quintana's flagship product, the " woven shoe ", was born in the late 1960s.
