The Origins of DATE

In 2005, four Italian friends – Damiano, Alessandro, Tommaso and Emiliano – met in London united by the desire to create something unique and new in the world of shoes .

They decided to join forces to create a line of sneakers that combined Italian craftsmanship with a vintage London aesthetic.

The name of the brand, DATE, is actually the acronym of their initials, a symbol of a project born from passion and determination.

After months of work in a garage transformed into an artisan workshop, they presented their first collection at Pitti Immagine Uomo in January 2006, selling over 8,000 pairs in just three days and establishing themselves as the novelty of the season. Over time, they have established themselves in the sneaker market, especially in Italy, and today they represent one of the safe and trendy fashion choices for every consumer.
