PARABOOT WOMEN - AN INCREDIBLE STORY

Paraboot footwear for women represents a fascinating journey through French history and craftsmanship, combining tradition, boldness and innovation.

The brand, born in the heart of France, is the fruit of an industrial history and a human adventure that is intertwined with the passion and commitment of several generations.

The story of Paraboot begins in 1908, when Rémy-Alexis Richard, born into a family of modest farmers, began working as a carver in one of the 20 shoe workshops in Izeaux, a small village at the foot of the Alps.

His boldness and initiative led him to travel and explore new ideas, culminating in the discovery of rubber boots in the United States in 1926. This discovery inspired Rémy to create waterproof boots with rubber soles, combining innovation and tradition.

In 1927, Rémy registered the name Paraboot, combining "Para", a port in the Amazon from which latex is exported, and "boot", the shoe he had seen in the United States. This brand becomes synonymous with quality, resistance and comfort, standing out for the use of fine materials and cutting-edge production techniques.

Over the years, Paraboot has evolved, moving from the production of work shoes to a broader range that includes leisure and mountain footwear. The Galibier brand, originally dedicated to work shoes, becomes a leader in technical footwear for mountaineering and outdoor activities, thanks to the innovation and quality of its products.

PARABOOT MICHAEL

In the 80s, Paraboot faced a difficult period, but managed to overcome it thanks to the success of the "Michael" model, which became an icon of style and quality. This model crosses eras, revolts and fashions, always maintaining the fundamental values of the brand.

Today, Paraboot is in its fourth generation with Marc-Antoine producing, continuing the tradition of excellence and innovation. The brand has expanded its presence internationally, with stores in Japan, the United States and throughout Europe, becoming one of the last emblems of "Made in France" and "sewn shoes".

The women's collection is no longer a simple variant of the men's collection, but an exclusive line that reflects the evolution of the brand towards a more urban and refined approach. These shoes combine the sturdiness and comfort of traditional techniques with a contemporary and versatile design, suitable for any occasion.
