Wushu Sneakers - Women's Collection
The history of Wushu sneakers for women is linked to the story of two Italian brothers, Walter and Paolo Lorini, who dedicated their lives to the martial art of Wushu. In 1968, the father enrolled the two children in one of the first martial arts gyms in Milan, where they began to practice Karate and soon became protagonists.
1978 was the turning point for the Lorini brothers, when they left for China to meet the queen of martial arts, Wushu. They were thus the first Italians to dedicate themselves to the practice of this age-old discipline, which they then brought to Italy as pioneers of the spread of Wushu in Europe.
From 1982 to 1987, the Lorini brothers participated in the Italian national Wushu team, where Walter won the European champion title in Barcelona and became the first Italian to receive a Taiji gold medal in China. Furthermore, Walter was the first Italian to become a Shaolin monk, a highly coveted achievement in the martial arts environment.
But their most important innovation was the invention of the first shoes specifically for the practice of Wushu in 1985, when they created the "Wushu Ru-Yi" shoes. These shoes were designed with particular attention to their functionality, but also to aesthetics, with the graphic representation of the RU YI, an ancient oriental symbol that represents the amulet of the emperors of the Qing dynasty. According to spiritual wisdom, the RU YI can satisfy the desires of the heart and therefore represents an object of great symbolic value.
Wushu, The Different Sneaker!
Wushu Ru-Yi shoes have been designed to have a flat but resistant sole, which allows good grip on the floor and excellent joint mobility. Furthermore, the upper is made with breathable and comfortable materials, which guarantee adequate ventilation of the foot during physical activity.
Today, Wushu Ru-Yi shoes are very popular among martial arts enthusiasts around the world, and represent a perfect example of how technological innovation and passion for martial art can come together to create a high quality product and value.
